Westmoor Home Inspection
Surprises Are Expensive!
Remove The Element.

The top priority of Westmoor Home Inspection is to protect both your family and your most valuable investment by completing a meticulous and systematic screening of the property.

Our Inspector:
  • Meets and exceeds industry standards and represents one of the best in the field.
  • Is well-versed in industry best practices.
  • Brings extensive knowledge of home building and construction to each job. This wealth of experience means he has firsthand knowledge of where to look for hidden issues and how to identify potential hazards.

Every home consists of three main components: structural, mechanical and finishes. The right home inspector will not only look for obvious problems with these different components but will go the extra-mile to conduct a thorough inspection that seeks to uncover any hidden problems.

Why choose us:
  • An inexperienced home inspector could end up costing you thousands of dollars in repairs that dramatically increase the price of the home.
  • We provide the ideal balance of education and practical field experience that includes decades of working in the trades.
  • Randy Keller, the inspector and founder of Westmoor Home Inspections, has worked as a general contractor, master carpenter, and HVAC technician. He has extensive experience in plumbing, electrical systems of homes and commercial properties.
  • Today, he uses his passion for building to help protect homeowners and ensure that you have a clear and accurate picture of any home or building you are looking to purchase.

With so many home inspectors to choose from, making the right choice can feel overwhelming. When you choose Westmoor Home Inspection, you can rest assured that you are working with one of the most educated, experienced and professional home inspectors in the field.

Your Inspection
We will inspect your home as if it were our own.
We offer the most comprehensive home inspections for buyers, sellers, and homeowners. Our home inspections go above and beyond the standards set by the National Association of Home Inspectors and comply with the International Association of Certified Home Inspectors ( InterNACHI ) standards which is the only organization recognized by the U.S. Department of Education (USDE). We’ll inspect every component of the home, taking high-resolution digital images along the way, examining each component for structural soundness, proper function, and code compliance.

Our detailed inspection will include the homes:

·        Foundation
·        Grading and drainage, including guttering
·        Roof covering materials
·        Roof structures and attics
·        Interior and exterior walls
·        Ceilings and floors
·        Doors and windows
·        Interior and exterior stairways
·        Fireplaces and chimneys
·        Porches, balconies, decks, and carports
·        Electrical systems, including panels, outlets, and fixtures
·        Heating, ventilation, and cooling systems
·        Plumbing systems and fixtures
·        Major appliances
·        Garages and garage door openers
·        Driveways, walkways, and patios
·        Gas lines and meters
·        Outdoor kitchens

And much more…

We deliver your inspection report the same day in most situations. Averaging about 50 pages, your report will be detailed, clear, and comprehensive, outlining the detailed condition of the property we’ve inspected for you. But don’t be alarmed: We’ll give you a summary linking to backup information in the full report. Your report will include:
·        40 plus color images documenting the inspection.
·        The components we’ve inspected.
·        Our findings, including any defects we’ve uncovered.
·        Home maintenance best practices and recommendations.

We’ll remain available to answer your questions and translate any terminology that may be unfamiliar to you. Most importantly, we won’t disappear after we deliver the inspection report. We want you to be completely satisfied and a customer for life. Our goal is to be the only home inspector you’ll ever call!

Types of Inspections offered:
  • Pre-Purchase Home Inspection
A Pre-Purchase Home Inspection is a complete and thorough evaluation of all accessible components of the home completed before the purchase of your home. A Pre-Purchase Home Inspection informs you of any potential problems and enables you to negotiate with the seller for repairs or reduced cost of the home purchase. What’s included in a home inspection? Included in a Pre-Purchase Home Inspection is an objective visual examination of the physical structure and systems of the home. We use a 300 point system to evaluate such items as the structural systems, electrical systems, plumbing systems, HVAC systems, and major appliances. Also, an inspection includes a detailed report of all findings at the time of the inspection and a consultation with our Certified Home Inspector to assist you with understanding our findings.

  • New-Construction Inspection
New-Construction Inspections are performed at the completion of construction of a new home, but prior to your final walk-through with the Builder’s Customer Service Representative or Superintendent. Having a thorough inspection performed by a third party inspector protects the home buyer’s interests. Included in your New Construction Inspection is an objective visual examination of the physical structure and systems of the home. We use a 300 point system to evaluate such items as the structural systems, electrical systems, plumbing systems, HVAC systems, and major appliances. In addition, you will receive a detailed report of all findings at the time of the inspection and a consultation with our Certified Home Inspector to assist you with understanding our findings.
